Ancient Aromatics is proud to present “RAW EARTH” Metal and Ceramic Art Sculpture of Ventura College. On display will be the never before seen exciting collection of large 3 dimensional metal art sculpture and ceramic designs including the new works designated for permanent installation at Ventura College. Plus a sneak peak of the historically inspired fountain sculpture being fabricated by Bambi Ruebe for the front wall of the historic art studio that Ancient Aromatics calls home. In the 1920’s Rufus Keeler, one of America’s most famous ceramicists created the beautiful tiles and fountain that adorned the graphic art studio at 50 N. Oak St., Ventura, California. Over the years many of the tile pieces were damaged or removed. In the original fountain drawings that the museum had provided, the fountainhead was a sculpture of Rufus Keeler’s firstborn son, surrounded by flowers. Instead of Rufus Keeler’s son Bambi carved her own sons face when he was a little boy, surrounded by flowers.Artist’s reception at 6pm on Saturday Meet many of the wonderful metal and ceramic artists as well as check out the new line of Ancient Aromatics natural products such as Birthright.
