Below is our list of popular questions people tend to ask us.
POPULAR QUESTIONS:
I already have a website so why should I be on here?
Unless you are doing heavy advertising for your business' website, your website is probably a needle in a haystack. Being associated with a large network like Destination:Central Coast means that you can promote your website within our network, driving traffic to the website you worked so hard to build.
How do people find Destination:Central Coast?
In the same way your website might be a needle in the haystack that is the world wide web (see previous question), the reality is the same for Destination:Central Coast and we are not afraid to admit it. However, the truth is that we advertise Destination:Central Coast through search engines online and we are expanding our own print advertising outlets in the central coast region. Our site is already growing and expanding it's daily visitors as people interact and use features like the Event Calendar and the Trip Planner.
I would join, but I already have a Print Advertising budget.
Awesome! We say keep your some of your print budget. However, affordable printing usually comes in black and white unless you throw down lots of cash. The ability to get full-color, 24-7 advertising available to the a potential customer who is on his computer in Sweden at 2:00 am isn't possible with an advertising budget that is limited strictly to localized printing. Joining the Destination:Central Coast network by getting an affordable Business Profile should be just another part of your monthly advertising strategy.
What if I already advertise myself in Google?
Great! However, you need to know that your Business Profile actually will be read by search engines like Google thanks to the meta-tags (tech lingo for keywords and descriptions of your business) that will be built into your profile. In other words, if you are "John Doe's Diner", and you query "John Doe's Diner" in one of the popular search engines out there, your chances are high that one of them will pick up the meta-tags allowing people to find you.
Why is there a setup fee?
Just like traditional print advertising where you would pay an agency to design your ad, it takes time, money and energy to generate your business profile. This allows us to sit down with you, gather your company's information, photos, logos, etc. and also allows you to get to know us a little better as well.
